This is one of
the best Andean
trekkings in Bolivia,
visiting traditional
towns and getting
on the heights
of the Apolobamba
mountain range.
There are more
people living
here that in the
North part of
the region. This
is a fantastic
trekking through
the unexplored
and unmapped area.
The wild life
is abundant: llamas,
vicuñas,
vizcachas, wild
horses and condors.
There are no towns
in the itinerary
and we will only
meet reduced human
establishments.
